Were you the victim of a crime?

Where is there support and help? What can you do?

The Federal Republic of Germany offers a variety of forms of assistance and support to aid you after being the victim of a crime.

These offers allow you to speak about the crime and its consequences as well as offering information on possible criminal proceedings and possibilities of financial  compensation.

This website is meant to give an overview of the offers for persons affected by crime. Additionally, the simple-to-use filters allow you to find victim services in your local area, specialized in helping persons affected by crime, which you can turn to.

Please note that if you wish to prosecute the perpetrator/s you must file a complaint with the police. In this case, please contact the nearest police department, prosecutor's office or court.

About ODABS

ODABS.org makes it easier for victims of crime to find counseling centers.

The website makes it possible to find out anonymously about the support and help options in the respective region.

In doing so, it covers institutions that, according to their own definition, place a focus of their work on advising and supporting those affected by crimes. The content that is visible via the facilities is managed independently by them.

If you are interested in working with www.ODABS.org, require information material or have questions about the project, please contact odabs@krimz.de
